To paraphrase Jeff Foxworthy

To paraphrase Jeff Foxworthy you know you’re a SPIRITUALIST when:

You believe there is One God/ Creator/ Divine energy (fill in whatever
              works for you)…
which is the Source of all that is (exists).

You believe that we are all connected to that Source through divine
energy/ love/ power/ good (again fill in the word that works for
you, I am not going to waste our time arguing semantics).

You believe we are all connected to each other through the same divine
energy that connects us to God and no person is less than or
           more than another.

You believe all things are possible through accessing (prayer/ meditation/
yoga, etc whatever works for you)
our divine connection with Source.

You believe that the energy you put into the universe determines the
energy that comes back to you (karma/ reciprocity/ reaping & sowing/ etc).

You believe that our spirit/ soul/ consciousness exists eternally
in some form or another, and we are all on our own journey
          to enlightenment.

You believe that as a divine being living a physical existence you are
responsible for the creation of your own reality, manifesting any
life and reality you deisre through Source/ God energy.

I don’t care what religion or rituals or fellowships you
choose for personal expression of your beliefs… if you believe
the above then you are a spiritualist.  That awareness is the unifying factor which our awakening consciousness has been seeking.
Accept yourself as spiritual and respect that others are spiritual.

We are one Rainbow tribe with one purpose…to see the 8th Fire ignited.

Fear & Loathing in America

Yesterday my heart hurt. Yes, in large part due to the horrific
attacks that took place at the Boston Marathon. But I was equally disturbed by the racist assumptions from one woman on a chat site that I was visiting at the time. When I cautioned her that we should follow the evidence and not make rash statements, she cited 911… in truth most terrorist activity in the U.S. is perpetrated by right-wing anarchist groups (who also feel god is on their side). Arab extremists very seldom attack but when they do they do it big (i.e. 911). The conversation continued briefly with, racism and ignorance (lack of information) rearing its ugly head over and over from several people.
This makes me very sad. I know that every single person on this planet was affected by the shift of 2012… just as I know that every part of the ocean is affected by the tidal pull of the moon. But just as every part of the ocean does not get to immediately crash against shore…not everyone’s move forward will actually bring  them out of darkness, it has only brought them closer to enlightenment. It saddens me to realize how many people are still struggling with fear, greed and guilt.
In 5D (dimensional) reality there is no fear, or greed or any of their children, (hate, war, anxiety, cruelty, want) even death has no hold.  Unlike the ancient masters I am not going to leave you to ponder that riddle for decades. I am going to tell you why that is and how it has manifested in my life.
I forget sometimes how hard it is, living in a 3D world where your frail human organic form is the beginning and end of you. It must be fed
and sheltered as do the 7,000,000,000 (7 billion) other human forms. We see the wheat (insert crop of choice) take a year to grow X# of bushels… it will be a year before the next crop of wheat. The bread is made; we must get our share (and a bit more just in case) or this human form will fail and we will be gone. We crave the approval of other humans because there has always been strength in numbers. Greater numbers will protect our stores (property) and our persons from predators (four legged or two legged). So we acquire wealth or physical strength or attractiveness to make ourselves desirable to the group (a keeper) so that we won’t be left outside the palace walls to die alone.
We eventually became aware of our immortal soul…our spiritual existence (we moved into 4D awareness) and that knowledge made us afraid. Just as we feared the other side of the forest, we feared the other side of physical life. We fear what we don’t know …then and now (which is why the only cure for racism is education). Everything that is wrong with this world comes from FEAR…even greed which drives our governments and industries, is born initially out of fear (fear of want and fear of rejection).
Once we become aware of our existence as 5D beings the fear is  gone. When you are an eternal spiritual (energy) being experiencing a physical existence… letting go of the body when the time requires, is not a big deal, much like moving to a new house or town in 3D terms. Not fearing  death frees you from the need for acceptance and approval… much of the harm done by human-beings (inside or outside the law) is motivated by the need for community. You can put us (5th deimensional people) outside the palace walls. If we die we die, or maybe we meet and become friends with a dragon. Life is an amazing adventure that is lived on our terms.
Because 5D awareness connects us spiritually to everyone and
everything; we would never do anything to harm another. Inasmuch (love that word) as our forms allow we will do everything in our power to better every  situation or person we touch. 5D beings live first from spirit, the choices we  make in the physical world reflect a respect for enjoying the 3D existence we have chosen and the lessons and knowledge that those experiences bring to us. Since we  are energetically connected to everything and everything is formed from energy  we do NOT fear lack. If there is a vacuum created by need (in our existence) then the energy of the universe reorders itself to fill that need. This is the abundance principle first introduce to popular culture by The Secret (this is only a small part of abundance and is very limited used alone). Abundant joy,
love, peace, health, and wealth are manifest, by living in your own 5D
awareness.
Stepping into my 5D awareness has left me waking up every day
living from LOVE and COMPASSION… there is no place for fear or greed in my heart or in my life. It is effortless and fun to be me; I trust that whatever each day brings… it is exactly what I need in that moment. I live secure in the knowledge that I am a blessing in my world.

Have a joyous day

OMG that was amazing…

I laughed… I cried… (this from me , who hates seeing reality coming
out of my television) LOL.
Today is an exception which may become a rule; or at least happen more often as time goes on. Angels of the Road has evolved into what is essentially a social justice site focusing on anti-poverty and housing issues. Spirit of the 8th Fire is about our spiritual ascension into abundance, brotherhood and peace. Sometimes, like right now, these two things intersect. So this blog will post to both sites. I just had the most awesome (I don’t use that term loosely) experience, I was awe-struck and joyous watching this episode of CBC’s 8TH FIRE documentary, “Its
Time”.
Unlike the first episode Indigenous in the City: which carried a lot of bias, this was so full of promise I really... REALLY believe every Canadian needs to watch this. Truth without guilt, real people of both races pushing forward building a new Canadian reality. “It’s Time”, offers a view of the future created from our past…our future as one country with respect, opportunity and hope for everyone. As I have said before we cannot and should not take responsibility for the past, but every one of us is responsible for what happens next.
Whichever side of Non-Native/ Native divide you are on educate yourself, then educate others, let's close the gap. There is value and beauty in each of us, open your eyes, see it, embrace it and rejoice.

Have a joyous day.
